The cluster is not the attraction here ... Dolidze 6 is in the center of this image, but only contains 12 stars, lost in the nebulosity. This area is in central Cygnus, just 1.2 degrees north of Sadr (Gamma Cygni), the center of the swan. The 'IC 1318' complex of nebulosity overlays many square degrees in this area |
