From the NGC / IC Project: Contemporary Visual Observation(s) for NGC 4096 NGC 4096 = UGC 07090 = MCG +08-22-067 = CGCG 243-043 = PGC 38361 12 06 01.0 +47 28 41 V = 10.8; Size 6.6x1.8; SB = 13.4; PA = 20d 17.5": bright, very large, almost edge-on 4:1 SW-NE, sharp concentration with a very small bright core embedded within the long extensions. - by Steve Gottlieb |
