From the NGC / IC Project: Contemporary Visual Observation(s) for NGC 5669 NGC 5669 = UGC 09353 = MCG +02-37-021 = CGCG 075-064 = PGC 51973 14 32 43.9 +09 53 31 V = 11.3; Size 4.0x2.8; SB = 13.8; PA = 50d 17.5": moderately bright, fairly large, elongated 3:2 SW-NE. Broad concentration to a large, slightly brighter core but no nucleus. The core appears offset to the N side. Forms a pair with CGCG 075-063 6.2' WNW. 8": very faint, fairly small, very diffuse, round, even surface brightness. - by Steve Gottlieb |
