| Notes: |
Tried doubling the time from my 2006 image
on this little guy, but didn't gain much ... smaller stars (better
processing?), but not much deeper image. Nightly fog and intermittent
high clouds is hampering my
ability to get more data ... From the NGC / IC Project: Contemporary Visual Observation(s) for NGC 5669 NGC 5669 = UGC 09353 = MCG +02-37-021 = CGCG 075-064 = PGC 51973 14 32 43.9 +09 53 31 V = 11.3; Size 4.0x2.8; SB = 13.8; PA = 50d 17.5": moderately bright, fairly large, elongated 3:2 SW-NE. Broad concentration to a large, slightly brighter core but no nucleus. The core appears offset to the N side. Forms a pair with CGCG 075-063 6.2' WNW. 8": very faint, fairly small, very diffuse, round, even surface brightness. - by Steve Gottlieb |
